A 5-hour Stipendiary Lectureship in Spanish at Brasenose and Balliol


Brasenose College and Balliol College wish to appoint a fixed-term 5-hour Stipendiary Lecturer to provide cover for an interim period pending recruitment to a permanent post. The teaching-only appointment is available from 1st October 2021 until 30th September 2024. The person appointed will co-ordinate with Professor David Groiser (Brasenose) and Professor Elena Lombardi (Balliol) to teach first, second and fourth year undergraduate students in Spanish literature and language (further details can be found in the Further Particulars). The Lecturer may also be required to participate in student admissions and to assist generally in the running of Modern Languages in collaboration with the subject tutors.

The salary scale will be within the range £11,463 - £12,893 per annum, according to qualifications and experience. Note that this is not a full-time role and the salary reflects this.
